Trash Piles

Trash piles on rolling platforms. Piles were constructed from foam branches, trash bags filled with soft goods, and various prop “trash” items. Branches were secured using plumber’s strap, and the trash bags were stapled to actor blocks, stools, and 2x4 supports attached to platform. Additional trash items were held in place with heavy-duty mounting tape.

All items on the trash piles were secured to maintain the appearance of being loosely stacked, while remaining stable enough to allow the units to roll off and on stage quickly without pieces falling off or moving.
